Benefit Fundraiser for Gage Smith October 2
Two and a half year old Gage Smith was badly burned a few months ago. He was treated in Cincinnati, Ohio and will continue to go there once per month for a year. This benefit will help raise money for the expenses incurred with his treatments including travel and medical expenses.
The benefit will be at The Moose Lodge on Highway 5 South in Mountain Home on Friday, October 2 at 5:00pm. The dinner will include either BBQ pork, coleslaw, chips and drink for $5 or hot dog, chips, and drink for $4. There will be a baked goods auction and a raffle. All baked good donations should be dropped off at the lodge after 1:00pm Friday. There will also be a dance starting at 8:00pm featuring Leslie Williams and The Highstrung Band.

Convoy of Hope of the Ozarks 2009
Several Kilgore Vision Center employees will be volunteering at the Convoy of Hope on August 15, 2009 at 10AM. The event will be held at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. Check out the webpage: www.convoyofhopeoftheozarks.com.
